DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN. She now not only knows how to pilot an Eva but she actually could do it. You know, theoretically. If she had one again. There's a lot of technical stuff involved b/c unlike Shinji she had to work for her pilot cred, her skill with Eva is not instinctive but actually trained for, and so that's ... part of this skill too, it'll make her martial-arts skills easier to handle now that she can grok how EVA units move vs. human bodies move &c.

This is also relevant to her training with Itachi because now there are pathways in her body that were closed that are open again because being able to sync with Eva requires a certain kind of openness that way.

I had a lot of tl;dr I wanted to put here but I decided nobody needed to hear all that so I cut it. I'll drop it into IC threads if it comes up.

Also, Asuka is one memory away from her last "canon" memory (at which point she will start getting alternities I hope) and it's a doozy - and as previously cleared with the mods it's going to require a few days' worth of heartgaming to bugfix the damage it'll do, so ... THIS IS A PREEMPTIVE SIGNUP SO I CAN SEE WHO WANTS TO GO, so if necessary I can ICly arrange it such that you all can get involved pre-game and come along.

I'm going to say max 12 players for now, since that should be enough to cover Emerald + close CR; if I need to expand it or I don't actually get the full load, that's fine too, I'm just trying to give a rough estimate so I can get a solid count back. RN I am looking at, idk, the first or second week of June, probably starting on a Friday and if necessary running through Monday. If that conflicts with anyone's schedule lemme know; you can join in at any time in that window, so it's not like you'll have to all be there right when it starts.

Hhhopefully by the time this rolls around I will have IRC back up and running, too.
